This architectural marvel was constructed by Salah ad-Din (Saladin) and has been meticulously preserved and enhanced by successive Egyptian rulers.

The Citadel is home to the renowned Mohamed Ali's Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, a must-visit destination in Cairo. Immerse yourself in the spiritual ambiance and marvel at the intricate designs that adorn this sacred place of worship.

Our journey continues to the Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan, a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Despite the Black Plague that ravaged Cairo in the mid-14th century, this mosque's construction began in 1356 CE and stands today as a symbol of perseverance.

Next, we visit the Mosque of Al-Refai, a gem of early Mamluk architecture. Constructed between 1356 and 1363 during the Bahri Mamluk period, this mosque is celebrated for its grandeur and innovative architectural elements. It remains one of Cairo's most awe-inspiring historic monuments.
