Day1:Itinerary

Aswan excursion and Day Tour to visit main highlights of the city to visit the unfinished Oblisk, Philae temple and High Dam. Then proceed Shallal to take a motor boat and visit the Philae temple devoted to God Isis. After the building of the High Dam the temple was dismantled and reconstructed in its present location in Agilika Island. You will end your tour by visiting the High Dam which was constructed to save Egypt from the Nile River flooding.

You will be taken along the road past the Fatimid Cemetery to the Unfinished Obelisk which is a curious sight where a huge obelisk is perfectly shaped on three sides but the fourth side is still attached to the rock bed. It was abandoned after a flaw was discovered on the rock.

Philae Temple, originally located on Philae Island, is a complex of ancient Egyptian temples dedicated to the goddess Isis and other deities. Due to flooding from the Aswan High Dam, the temple complex was relocated to Agilkia Island. It's known for its well-preserved structures, including the Temple of Isis, the Kiosk of Trajan, and the Temple of Hathor.
